Our membership runs from 1st April to 31st March annually. Membership fees are payable in advance, and should be received by the club no later than the 31st March in the year applied for.

Following the latest guidance from Athletics NI we can run club activities and coaching sessions with a ratio of one coach to 14 athletes from 12th April 2021.

We offer sessions at different locations which will be either in Londonderry Park or one of our usual hills locations. We also have added a few new places in order to give us flexibility and so we will not be seen to be taking over Londonderry Park, these will be communicated at the time of the session announcement.

We have now re-affiliated the club with AthleticsNI for the 2021/2022 season and if athletes wish to return to training we must ask that you join the club again in order to be covered by insurance.

We have been working hard on a new Club Management System to make it easier for our memebers to manage their membership as well as to sign up for events and races, amoungst other things.  Please click the link below to be taken to the new Club Management Website.

This will take you to the landing page where you will register as either an Existing Member or a New Member depending on your status with the club.

Junior membership is for children aged 11+ who have moved up to either Foundations or are training in the adult sessions with an accompanying adult.

Fundamentals for children up to Age 11, are paid separately.


You must be a registered member to attend training sessions. Our appointed Covid Co-ordinator will work closely with the coaches to ensure the safety of the athletes.

The role of the Covid Co-ordinator is as follows:

  • To take the lead for ensuring club compliance and liaison with Athletics Northern Ireland
  • To complete a risk assessment before resuming any activities
  • To ensure all athlete contact details are up to date and a register is taken of those attending each session to ffaciliate contact tracing can be implemented in the case of an athlete reporting Covid-19

Details of the booking system and how to use it will be released once it is completed but it is anticipated that the sessions for the next week will go live on a Thursday evening and will be live until the Sunday evening or until they are full.

If an athlete wishes to cancel their session they must contact the relevant coach and the coach will then go to the session reserve list and let the next person know that the space is available. You must not attend training if you feel unwell.

Annual membership fees

  • Senior Membership (18+) £32.50
  • Junior membership (11 – 17) £20
  • Affiliated membership(ANI registered with another club) £30

All of the above categories except affiliated membership include affiliation with Athletics NI.

How to become a member

New Members

If you are new to the club, we would normally allow you to join us for 2 weeks to try us out and see how friendly we are before we ask you to make any decisions on becoming a paid up member. However, due to Covid 19 this is not possible at the moment and you must be a registered member to attend any training sessions. You can join part way through the year at a reduced, proportional fee.
