Absolutely fab results from our parkrunners but especially amazing PBs from Jimmy Andrews of 1 min 20 seconds 2nd Pb in a row and 8 out of 11 PBs in his last parkruns, Lorraine Adams PB by 2mins 2 seconds who has done 19 parkruns with 11PBs and Kirsty Meredith PB by 1min 23 seconds.
Comber Cup cross country
Kieran McNamara represented the club running the mens 8K course in 37:51 and Sonia Houston in the ladies 6K in 38:45. Fantastic results.
Dublin Marathon
4 Striders represented the club running the Dublin Marathon all getting PBs! First in for the Striders was Jonny Kinney in 3:36:43, followed by Manuel Farrelly 3:55:36, Mervyn Kinney 4:26:55 and Lisa Bell 4:27:34. Amazing results with the Kinney/Bell family having 3 PBs today with an extra special mention to Lisa our committee member getting a PB by over 1 hour 15. FANTASTIC results all round!
Run in the Pink
Catherine Lavery, Carleen Seeger, Karen Clarke and Janice Irvine running Cancer Focus NI Run In the Pink. Great work girls sounds like a great run, we hope the pink powder eventually came off!
