Pack Collection

Race numbers and timing chip can be collected from the reception area @ Londonderry Park Pavillion, Portaferry Road, Newtownards BT23 8SG  

Race Number Collections: 
~ Wednesday 25th April 2018 18:30 to 20:00
~ Thursday 26th April 2018 from 18:30 to 20:00
~ Friday 27th April 2018 from 16:00 to 17:30

Race Day

Location: Ards Airfield, Portaferry Road, Newtownards

Parking: There is limited parking at the Airfield, overflow carparks located at Londonderry Park and Tesco Castlebawn.

Route: The 5km race will be one lap and the 10km race will be two laps. Both races are officially measured by Athletics NI and timed by Championchip. 

Kids 1K Fun Run: Children and accompanying adults are asked to be on the start line for 18:00, the kids 1km race will be a straight race down the main runway.
There will be a medal for each child.

5K & 10K Race start time: All runners to be on the start line for 18:30 with race number and timing chip.
There will be medals for all finishers.

Post Race Refreshments

As well as water for all runners and sweets for the children, no Scrabo Strider event would be complete without some good post race munchies! There will be hotdogs, sandwiches and mouth-watering buns as well tea, coffee and juice after the race. Please join us!
